Troll and Find side mount kit with screen protector instructions.
Step #1 Install the fish finder side mount.
Install the fish finder side mount and end cap to the trolling motor shaft. Start both nuts and tighten equally with a screwdriver. The mounting bolts should be tightened snug with the screwdriver. Overtightening can cause the end cap to break.

Step #2 Mount your fish finder to the side mount.
Use the screws that came with your fish finder or #8 x 1/2 sheet metal screws. Lay your OEM fish finder mount over the Troll and Find side mount to identify the correct screw location and pattern. Start all of the screws to maintain correct location. Using a screwdriver tighten the screws until snug. Overtightening can cause the mount to break.

Step #3 for the side transducer lock block.
Align the holes of your OEM transducer with the holes in the Troll and Find lock block. Start the screws supplied with the transducer or use #8 x 1/2 sheet metal screws. Rotate the screws until almost tight. Final tightening will be done last. Slide the transducer and lock block over the angled rib of your trolling motor. Check that the transducer will not contact the trolling motor propeller. Make adjustments if needed before tightening the lock block straps and transducer screws. When the transducer and lock block looks good, pull the zip tie straps tight. Use side cut pilers to cut the excess strap off. Finally tighten the transducer screws until snug. See the examples of the different transducer types and mounting styles in the pics below.

Step #3 for the bottom transducer lock block.
Align the holes of your OEM transducer with the holes in the Troll and Find lock block. Start the screws supplied with the transducer or use #8 x 1/2 sheet metal screws. Rotate the screws until almost tight. Final tightening will be done last. Slide the transducer and lock block over the skeg of your trolling motor.

Step #4 Transducer wire clip.
Wrapping the wire is a convenient way to deal with the excess transducer wire and the method we recommend. This step is not required and is up to you to decide how to deal with the excess transducer wire.
Start at the bottom of the trolling motor shaft and wrap the wire around the shaft. If you do this with a tight wrap the wire will almost resemble a coil spring. This will result in a wire that will stay in place once the wire clip is attached to the top of the wire coil with the zip tie.

Step #5 The screen protector.
Slide the larger top cover part over your fish finder. The back of the fish finder needs to be flush against the screen protector. Align the smaller bottom base part to the top cover part. There is a locating feature that will contact the front of the fish finder. When aligned correctly you will see the Troll and Find logo. Tighten the screws with a screwdriver to snug. Overtightening can cause the part to break or strip the threads.

RV drip diverter installation
If you purchased the complete kit with pole sections press the poles together firmly. The sections will lock together. Place the drip diverter on the end of the pole. Stand directly under the drip edge of your RV and slide the drip diverter over the drip edge until it stops sliding. The drip diverter does not need to be pushed all the way in, just snug is enough.
Pull the pole sections apart for storage after installation or removal.

Route the hose away from your RV and campsite and enjoy a dry campsite with a completely level RV. Before moving the RV the drip diverter MUST be removed. The drip diverter is not designed to be installed while driving. Remove the drip diverter in reverse order of installation.
